    At Green Oasis School (GOS), we welcome applicants from all students regardless of nationality andbackground.Toensureweenrollthebestoftheavailablecandidates,wehaveintroducedaselectionprocessforinterview.

    城市绿洲学校欢迎来自不同国家和背景的学生。为了确保我们招收到最好的候选人，以下是面试的选拔程序。

    Beforebeingconsideredforadmissioninterviews,allapplicantsmust:

    在筛选面试的候选人前，所有人必须：

    · havesubmittedallofthepaperwork

    · beapplyingforthecorrectacademicyeargroup· 申请正确的年级

    Whenselectingcandidatesforinterview,prioritywillbegiventoapplicants:

    · according to their level of English on the admissions form – this will be further assessed attestingbyaGOSteacherorawrittenassessment

    Once selected for admissions testing, the applicant’s further progress will depend upon his/herperformanceinanindependentassessmentprocessinformedbyteacherobservations一旦被选中参加入学考试，申请人的进展将取决于他/她在教师观察报告中独立评估的表现。

    The assessment process

    InKS1childrenareassessedinaguidedplaysituationwithteachersevaluating,amongothersthings,theapplicantslevelofspokenandwrittenEnglish.Strongapplicantswilldemonstratemost,ifnotall,ofthefollowing:

    KS1 的孩子在老师指导的游戏环境下接受英语口语和书面的评估。较强的候选人将会表现出众，如果不是，则关注：

    Candidates who demonstrate some or all of these will also be considered depending upon the number ofvacancies.

    InKS2,candidateswillsitanassessmentinMaths,readingandwriting.Goodcandidateswill:

    候选人将被邀请参加口语面试

    InKS3andKS4,candidateswillsitawrittenexaminMathematicsandEnglish(Year10studentswillalso be assessed in Science).  Before proceeding to oral interview, applicants need to attain 60% ormoreontheEnglishpaper.

    在 KS3 和 KS4，候选人将参加数学和英语的书面考试（10 年级学生要参加科学考试）。参加口语面试前，候选人的英语书面考试必须达到或高于 60 分。

    FollowingthewrittenassessmentsforKS2‐4,applicationswillbeevaluatedandselectionwillbemadefororalinterviews.

    KS2‐4 的书面测试结束后，候选人将被评估和筛选，并进行口语面试。

    At oralinterview,applicantswill speakwith theHead ofPrimary orSecondary (depending upon thesectionbeingapplied for).Thiswillbeaninformalconversationdesigned todeterminewhether thelevelofspokenEnglishisofacomparablelevelwiththeotherstudentsintheyeargroup.

    在面试时，候选人将会与小学主任或中学主任面谈（取决于申请的年级）。这是一个非正式的对话，旨在确定英语口语是否与其他相同年级学生的水平一致。

    At the same time as the oral interview, candidates parents will be invited for interview with thePrincipalandVicePrincipal.Therewillbeawiderangingconversationfocusingonthechildwhichwillfocuson:
